On the modifed McPherson stup our cars use, struts will not make the car lower (only springs or adjustable coil-overs can do that). However, on a lowered car the Fox body struts will be operating more in the middle of their range than will the newer units, because they are of a shorter overall length.[/align][/align]It's not necessary, but it's a nice touch...[/align]
