Default Tuner vs. SpeedCal for your Gear Swap

Who here has installed the Dallas Mustang Speedcal for their gear swap? Is it a difficult?

Would there be any benefitgoing withahand-held tuner instead given my current mods areonly a K&N FIPK, PP TB & PLNM, & SSS catbacks on a 2003 GT 5 speed? I really don't plan on anyting else other than the gear swap.

IMO your never done with ur car. even when u think u are ull buy something else, get the tuner with your gears, they offer so much more than just fixing your speedo or tuning ur car

i bought that speed cal.. kinda a waste of a $100 since i am getting a tuner now.. but if u cant afford a tuner then its the easiest way to fix ur speedo

Tuners typically come with pre-loaded tunes - up to 4 different tunes. Are these pre-loaded tunes good enough or do you find you still need to do additional customizing (which I assume needs to be done while only on a dyno)?

I say get the tuner. It is more expensive, but chances are you will end up buying one in the future anyway. I have only used mine to correct my speedo but it is nice having it. I can get tunes if I need to and not worry about that $375.
