on the 98 cobra when it has been sitting for like 20 minutes or longer it cranks over for like 10 to 15 times b4 it starts but if u stop in the middle of the cranking then crank again it still takes that long to start butit back fires as soon as it starts up so i know there is fuel there n i just changed the plugsim just wondering if ne one else has had this problem im thinking wire or coils i would also like to know if ne one knows how much u can bore the 4.6 motor out to i was looking to bore it out to close to like a 289 orbigger i want to know how far i can go

As far as the starting issue.... Its a mustang thing . Every mustang i have ever climbed into has done it.

Well, My mustang never cranks longer then 1 second... so im not sure about your problem, but on boreing to a 289... Im not very knowledgable when it comes to machinging and boring... But I know that If your motor is gonna be tore apart in the first place... they make a stroker kit that turns your 4.6 to a 5.0

If anyone can comment on how the stroker kit works... I would like to know please...

but if i stroke it then im gonna have to get the machened i figured that it might be easer and cheeper to bore it cause im not gonna do internal work my self ne way
