Call up an upolstry(sp) and see if they have any ways of rewrapping it in leather or something?

Mine really had a spot that was worn down by the previous owner.

They must have had some sort of nervous habit with the wheel.

I put a steering put a black leather steering wheel cover on it which fit really well and I was satisfied with that for a while.

I had to use the horn one day.... Miami drivers... grrr......

Pressed it a little too hard

Something popped inside and the major difference after the pop was the horn had like a hair trigger.

So, I decided to order the FR500 and just redo the whole thing.

Anyway, after taking that all apart and removing the airbag and seeing how it all works, I won't slam the horn again.

Just remember to disconnect the battery a good hour before you start.

You don't want that airbag driving a screwdriver through your forehead.
