Ya, mine is a 5-speed, but if I had an auto I would buy it just to play with it...Maybe I just didn't get enough toys as a kid :D

too expensive, but yea, it looks like fun. Kinda like a tiptronic transmission. I'd rather go PI heads/intake for my auto

eh, good theory, but I'd only get it if I had a manual valve body b/c you can't really downshift on a stock auto...

I thought about putting one of those on the civic... but it's already a manual. the new GTP Comp Gs have them, I think it'd be fun for the first month and then i'd get bored with it since i really don't street race much anyway.

If I'm not mistaken, 2005 Autos have 5 gears.

Indeed they do... The setup is also a lot sweeter for racing, it goes 1-2-3-D instead of 1-2-D like the older cars

sorry acer, but that doesnt make much sense. Are you meaning that since they have an extra gear, its better for racing? Because the 05's "D" is 4&5 gear, just the older cars "D" is 3&4 gear. You have to hit the o/d button to get it outa overdrive into drive. they are setup the same, just that the new ones have 1 more gear, meaning they are a 4 speed, with overdrive. and the older cars are 3 speeds with overdrive.

edit: and back on topic, i wouldnt like that paddle shifter, too euro for me, and like shiftn' it on floor!
