O/D off?

O/D off?

Ever since my 4v swap my car has occasionally set off the o/d off light..... I have a 5 speed. Is this a problem or is it just a stupid light that wont hurt me.

Is your car going in o/d? If it is I would not worry about it.

its just that it says overdrive is off sometimes and i have a manual trans so i dont have overdrive because thats what fifth gear is.

lol thats funny....i wouldnt worry about it...if it doesnt make any weird noises or the rpms dont jump when the light comes on then it obviously isnt hurting anything

was the car origionally automatic, i never even knew manuals had overdrive lights

My car did the same thing after I swapped. It hasn't happened in a long time I can't remember if it stopped after I rebuilt my trans or it was after I got the car tuned. But don't worry about it
