Fuel Problem...Please Help!
My '99 GT Had been just fine until one day I stopped and fueled up the same place I always do. Within a mile or so I felt the motor stumble a little. A day or so later I went to start it and it took 2-3 times before it back fired out the right side pipe and started. I however did not notice it missing after it started. It started several times just fine and than did it again and the stumble in the motor came back when cruising at about 2200RPM. I had a proffessional fuel system cleaning done, than installed a new fuel pump and filter, than had my local Ford dealer perform an injector leak down test which it passed and than we even checked each injector one by one for leaks, cracks, etc and cannot find anything. It will fire right up on the first try2 out of3 times but the engine stumble is now consistant. The hard starting seems to be worse when the weather is really hot. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

Did the Ford dealer check the electrical system? Seems to me they should have. Car won't start or runs rough means either fuel or electrical. You seemed to have eliminated the fuel part.

RE: Fuel Problem...Please Help!
Just replaced coils about 1500 miles ago. I took it in for detailing and forgot to tell them not to power wash the engine compartment...big mistake...I had to replace all the coils so I think that would be eliminated but I am open to any ideas as I just want my BABY to run again.
