depends on how much oil you're burning, i think 1qt every 1000 miles is about the limit. you could drive it more but it really would be time for a rebuild

I knew a guy with a 4.6 dohc with 220,000 and he had 4.10's on it. All he had was tranny rebuilt.

96-98 were 15 second cars at best. Sure yours is stock? 4.6L 215hp
I would say 14 second cars at best...
With a STOCK auto w/ bad plug wires and a bad MAF (which resulted in a super-lean situation where I was running out of fuel) I ran a 15.0....

Meaning I could hit 14's on a stock auto, meaning manuals should be well into the 14's.

I never seen one that fast. All the 215hp mustangs I ever saw were mid 15 seconds. If you can hit a 14.9 in a auto your doing pretty good. Maybe you had one of those factory freaks with a little more power..who knows!!

10 more hp, oh, I was running an e-bay intake w/ no screen that was also screwing my maf readings (the maf was bad, so would that really matter?).

No 96-98's were at the track that day...

I'm thinking of selling that car, but now that I think it may be a factory freak....

I have a 98GT 5spd and ran 9.3's at the 1/8 track which equals a low-mid 14's

If you cant break 15's, you need to learn to drive

I doubt you'll see 13's, maybe LOW 14's, but I wish you the best of luck! You have a little less in mods than I do, but you have gears and I am hoping for mid-low 14's, so maybe you could do it...
