Long Tubes In Illinois???
Anyone from Illinois know what the regs are on LT's in this state? Will they trip anything when I go for emissions? I really want to get them, but don't want to have to hassle with failing emissions because of it. Would this be where the MIL eliminators and O2 sensors come in?
Second....I have a SLP LM1 with SLP catted X. I'm looking into getting the BBK LT's. Will they fit up good with the X or would I want to go with SLP LT's? The car is an 04 GT in case you were wondering. |
RE: Long Tubes In Illinois???
I'm guessing you're from the Chicago area (Go Cubs!). Luckily we don't have to deal with emissions in Southern Illinois.

RE: Long Tubes In Illinois???
i just did mine and they plugged into my OBD port, i assume if you take care of the codes it'll throw you'll be fine
and you'll need a new shorty mid pipe to match long tubes |
RE: Long Tubes In Illinois???
So I got yes's and no's. I'm just gonna do it. And if I did go with the BBK LT's and changed the X to a BBK, That would still fit up good with the SLP LM1's right?
