If you buy a complete kit like the mongoose kit from Modular Powerhouse then it comes with everything you need including the tune.

You can put a blower kit, like the one from MPH, on a completely stock car. It of course won't make the power that say a full boltons/other mods car would make, but even on a completely stock car you should make say 350 WHP on 8 PSI, a big upgrade from what you have now, and any future mods you make will make a much bigger difference with FI than they would without.
You don't need any new gaskets, low compression pistons, or anything like that. I am running a 10 PSI vortech setup, and if I had not done the cams before the blower the vavle covers would not even have come off.
If I could change anything, I would have done the blower the first thing and done the other mods in stages, instead of doing the n/a mods first. the blower simply made x10 the difference in the car compared to any (or all combined) of the boltons.

Sweet...thanks.I was under the impression that i would need to buy an inter-cooler, some sort of oil cooler and so on to keep the car from running hot. And apparently it isnt as easy as just slapping on a supercharger all buy itself either.
Also i do understand that i wouldnt make awsome power without all the other little bolt-ons and power adders. I was just curious as to what it'll take to put one on my car, as far as parts and such.

an intercooler will help, but is not needed. i ran my car non-cooled at 10psi for a almost a year with no problems. i later added methanol injection, which gave me an additional 50RWHP. meth kits can be had for 200-400 for a complete kit. great alternative to an intercooler.

The other boltons, like the exhaust and intake stuff, help because they make the engine more efficent. A supercharged car's power output is nothing more than the n/a power output multliplied by the amount of boost your running. There is no 100 percent accurate forumla, but its safe to say that the more power you make n/a, the more you will make once you go FI (not taking into account stuff like compression and cam overlap). Likewise, while a bolton might give you 10 WHP n/a, it's effect is multiplied by the boost, so instead of 10 WHP n/a from a set of LTs you might make 20+ WHP FI.
