Default MM Torque Arm

Wow! It's been a while since I have come on here. Does anyone have a maximum motorsports torque arm on their car for the street? I am curious to know how streetable it is and if it can handle the rigors of a daily driver. I had a recent mishap with the car in the winter and lucked up on the insurance company replacing my front K-member with a UPR tubular, and now that the car is getting upwards in miles, the rear is starting to wear and get a little sloppy. It is a 2002 GT convertible which already has maximum motorsports full length subframe connectors in place.

The streetability isn't the issue. It would be great on the street, tightens up the handling and everything. The issue is the supporting mods. Extra stiff special springs for the rear, new lower control arms and a panhard bar are required. I plan to get it down the line, but I'm working on the subframes and lower control/panhard first.

Oh, yeah. I knew about the rest of the items required for the kit. I just wanted to make sure it could satnd up to the rigors of everyday non-track driving (ie: rain, road imperfections, potholes, etc.)

I have had my MM torque arm, subframes, panhard bar, LCAs and stiffer springs on for a couple weeks and I am thrilled with how the rear wheels stay planted during cornering. Oversteer used to be my biggest problem in the turns but now my car actually understeers! Time for a k member and some A arms. Just FYI, when you install the panhard bar you get rid of your upper control arms, quad shocks and change out the rear springs for stiffer ones. Also, you have to re-route your exhaust pipes over the panhard bar. The setup is totally fine for daily driving, I was worried about gear lash and a harsher ride but I don't really notice any difference as far as noise or ride quality -just much better handling.

I appreciate the feedback. I actually just had a good conversation with Jason at MM about the product. I am likely going to get it this week. The rear of my car is starting to wear down and get sloppy and I am getting some noise from it. That should feel nice with my front coil over and k member set up. Did you get the sway bars too?
