if you do it buy yourself that 4700 might stretch far enough but it will be close...

id suggest you check out MMR (modular mustang racing). they make some good stuff at a reasonable price. also i prefer VT cams over comp. they have less problems with PTV contact. depending on what you plan on doing VT has N/A blower and turbo cams i believe

Look at MMR or Modular Powerhouse. They both make quality shortblocks, MMR is a bit cheaper but you can't go wrong with MPH.

Do a search for the 4v cobra swap...i know you will need the ecu and you will probablyhave problems along the way, but of course you have problems even dropping in the 2v so....It all depends on what you want. 4v>2v but you can make big power on a 2v also...
Are you going to do this yourself?

cobra swap is more trouble than it's worth. you can get a built motor ready for 900HP from MMR for $2800. heads and cams won't be a bad idea either.

+1 get a built block with some nice heads and cams. that way if there isnt enough left over youll probably be over 300whp N/A (assuming full bolt-ons) or close to it, and when you go F/I in the future.. you have a forged motor, heads and cams so you can run alot of boost. or you could go the other route, find a lightly used 4.6 and S/C it
