Default should i attempt it?

should i attempt to install lowering springs myself on my mach? if so how hard is this going to be and what is needed?

I did a writeup on the front springs on my GT so yes they are very doable with the right tools. Let me see if I can find it

My brother and law installed them on my car and they really weren't very hard. A spring compressor will help you a whole lot but you don't have to have one. If I remember correctly we used it on the front but not on the back.

Did mine myself. It was time comsuming but once you do the first front one then the second one is easy as pie. As for the rears they are cake. I did KYB AGX shocks/struts, H&R SS springs, and Maximum Motorsports CC plates, and the springs came with new poly isolators which is nice. No squeking either. Nice drop with no bottoming out.

It's not very hard at all with the right tools. Just make sure you have something to use as a breaker bar because sometimes the bolts are really tough to get out.

Yeah i dont think so. Thats totally not needed man. Its a peice of cake doing the springs

Its really easy.

Make sure you get an alignment after you do this.
