I'm new and wondering how much hp.
 

I just bought a 96 gt and was wondering how much HP I have? It feels like it has more that stock. The Modsthe carhas H-pipe, comp cams mild, flow masters w/o cats, under drive pulleys, 32 pound injectors, 80mm mas, polish throttle body, 3.73 gear, 5 speed, and a super chip. Also if i could get a guess of how fast it might run the 1/4. thanks swamp

some of the stuff you have will be hard to guess how much hp it adds. such as the comp cams since you did not provide the specs and the super chip because I dont know what kind of tune you have but the other stuff might net you 30 hp. just a guess. and as far as 1/4 mile times other stuff are factors too. driver skill, altitude, skill, temp, skill, and tires. also skill. Stock our cars are 15 sec cars high 14's with a good driver.

The guy I bought it from was not sure of the specs on the cam but there in not have a lope. It is a not a big one.I don"t know what chip but it does not run well with out 93 octane. I have build a couple of old school engines with 300-350hp and this car feels at about that.I new to the mod on Fuel injectedcars. so i have no clue.

umm its hard to tell since we don't have all the info on all the stuff you have and also swamp (since you are new they may give you a break) but this (i am guessing) would be a non tech thread and we do have a general section for that so next time i would post it in that section so your thread doesn't get deleted like a couple of mine did haha... good luck on your stang

id say with the cam 14.4-14.6's or so my friend had a 98 gt with all those mods minus cam and ran consistent 9.4's in the 1/8th mile so thats roughlya mid 14

Are you sure? I can't beileve anyone would run 32s on a bolton/cammed NPI car (or pi car). Thats is WAY to much injector for the car, they are either only opening for a tiny perentage of the duty cycle or the car is running extremely rich.

I would say you could run in the mid to upper 14's if you can drive.

It is running rich I can smell it. i was not sure if it was because it did not have cats. If it was carb I would lean it out some. not so easy on fuel injected.
