Take a listen to these, the first vid is a cobra w/MAC catback and the second one is w/Borla. I personally would go w/the MAC, you just can't beat the sound of a chambered muffler[8D]

I have a mac h-pipe with a borla catback. When reving it at idle it sounds pretty nasty and loud up until about 4k. Anything after is not that great. Cruising around and getting on it it sounds pretty nasty. Pretty throaty

Revving the car at idle isnt the best way to find out how a car sounds, because if you realized that, you would know that Borla *the stingers anyways* sound AMAZING at acceleration.
I would imagine that a Striaght thru muffler will have a morem aggressive sound at idle.

Last I checked there was still no Stinger catback for a pre-99 mustang.....

Chambered has a louder idle. Straight through are louder under acceleration.

What I was trying to say is that they *being a straight thru muffler* will be more aggressive.....
BUT, either way I was mistaken, typo.. i meant to say more aggressive under load.

RE: Exhaust...MAC vs Borla
So do you have a Stinger exhaust or not?
I guess I don't really know what you were trying to say in your last two posts.
Like I had said, as far as I knew, there was no STINGER/aggressive model for the pre-99 mustangs.
If there IS.. then I stand corrected, but like you said, what you showed me is NOT a stinger catback..
Do you have one?
