I have a question about the 99 mustang cobra. I just visited car-stats.com and it said that a 98 mustang cobra beats a 99 by a tenth of a second in 0-60 and a tenth of a second in the quarter mile. From what i read the 98 mustang has 305 hp with 305 ft.lbs of torque, and the 99 has 320 hp with 317 ft.lbs of torque somebody please tell me that this is a missprint or something, it doesnt make sense.

maybe waits an issue but ehhh i dunno not sure cuz im pretty sure the 99's are lighter? could be wrond but i know they frigged up on teh 99 Cobras and did a better job on the 01's.

i heard that the 99s dont have the 320 said it had and some were even recalled [:@] the ones that were recalled & fixed have the 320 but the ones that dont could def. have less [&:]

Mine was a recall, Not shure how it will do against the 98s

do u know if all 99s were recalled or is their some none recalled 99s that r slow.

03 Cobras had a recall too. the piston closest to the driver was getting stuck or something. did u guys hear about that?

Ive always wondered the same thing. Someone said something about a 99 cobra haveing a problem with the IRS and the intake manifold. Who knows.

heyDVS you got aol man? But yeh I won the bid today, cant wait to get it on my car and see how it sounds.. And as far as I know they had the recalls on all 99 cobras(offcoarse some idots might not have brought them back) but the guy I got mine from said it was.

i raced a 99 cobra it my 2004 powerstroke and he just barley beat me..now thats sad
