Default T56 SWAP

I AM LOOKING AT DOING A T56 SWAP INTO MY 2003 FORD MUSTANG GT.I HAVE GATHERED SOME INFORMATION ON THIS BUT DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS CORRECT?. I HAVE FOUND THAT YOU CAN USE THE STOCK FLYWHEEL ON THE TR3650 BUT NEED A NEW CLUTCH???.. ALSO THAT THE DRIVESHAFT NEEDS TO BE SHORTENED 1 INCH IS THIS AN EXACT MEASUREMENT??? ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO SELLS A CROSS MEMBER OR CAN I JUST MODIFY MY STOCK ONE? I CAN GET A T56 OUT OF A COBRA FOR AROUND 1500 WITH ONLY 10000 MILES ON IT... AND TO SHORTEN THE DRIVESHAFT IS $135.00 AND ME AND MY BUDDY CAN DO THE INSTALL. ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE REVERSE LOCKOUT AND HOW YOU MAKE THAT WORK??? I FOUND AN ARTICLE ONE TIME ON THIS WHOLE THING BUT CANT FIND IT AGAIN... SOME INFORMATION WOULD BE NICE.

ahah, thats a joke, the guys at D&D dont know their *** from a Hole in the ground.. According to the guy i kept calling for advice on my TKO600... " I dunno, we just sell them" I will NEVER Deal with D&D Again .
Why is it you are going with the T56??? and that 1500 isnt that cheap, u can get rebuilt ones(almost new) for like 1800 shipped.. with a warranty....

The final gear on the cobra 6 speed isn't much better than the 3650, if your going to get a 6 speed take the plunge all the way and get a viper spec. At least then you'll get a close ratio 1st thru 4th and a .50 in 6th. Your ODratio right now is like a .68 maybe cobra is a .64 if I remember right. But if not, I'm sure someone on here will call me on it! lol.

The guys at D&D where great to me. Helped with all my questions and sent me a complete Viper Spec T-56 package.

MY BUDDY HAS A LT1 CAMARO AND SWEARS BY THEM... SAYS THERE STRONGER THEN THE TR3650'S PLUS MINE IS GRINDING GOING INTO 2ND EVERYNOW AND THEN AND SOMETIMES POPS OUT??? SO IM PROB GOING TO NEED NEW SYNCRO'S ANYWAYS.... UNLESS YOU GUYS HAVE A CHEAPER AND BETTER SOLUTION?

They better be stronger than the 3650's... But when you can get a TKO, for Cheaper or the Same Price as a T56(NOT THE VIPER SPEC) why spend the extra money on the T56...... The tko is WAY stronger than the T56(03cobra)...

(it would take 2pages of writing to explain my experiences with D&D)

What do you want to know?? Do you need the Synchros? Gears? U can purchase them from Ford direct, check all ford dealers around you... one 4miles from my house was over $200 MORE expensive than one 20miles from my house for 1-2 Gear Synchros and 3-4 Gear Synchros......
