i want to install gear for my stang, but what make me confuse is that nobody can give me the "RIGHT" one for my auto daily driving, i goes alot in the highway and in town so which one is the perfect one for me

there isn't a "right" gear. its all personal preference, you'll see a big improvement whether you go with 3.55s or 4.30s.

for an auto you might not want to go bigger than 3.90s, i'd go with 3.73s

I went with 4:10's in my Mach, and I have really bee happy with them. but to be honest i do alot of highway driving and at times Wish I had gone with 3:73 like SixEight said above.

ok so if i go with the 3:73 i wont face any kind of problem or side effects? because i do ALOT of highways and in town evry day

just go with 3.55's if your worried that uch. they will give you alittle boost but wont waste much gas at all. They did come stock in the cobra r's so they are a good gear.

Any gear from 3.73-4.30 will be the right gear for you.

With 4.30's on the highway, it will run higher in RPM's & make a bit more noise. Gas mileage from 3.73 to 4.30's on the highway wouldn't be all that different as long as you are smooth with the throttle...

With 3.73 you always leave yourself with the option of saying you wish you went with more gear. With 3.90's you always leave yourself open to saying 'I should have just gone 4.10'. With 4.10's you always leave yourself open to saying 'Jeez I should have just gone with 4.30's.

and when you go 4.30's you wish you had gone 4.56's.. and so on.. and so on... for the guy who said autos should go 3.73 where did you hear this? the universal unwritten rule is 4.10's for an N/A auto, but the best idea is a 4.30 for a N/A auto.. your gas mileage wont drop alot, cause youll get up to speed quicker and be on the throttle half as much. its when you floor it cause you like the acceleration your gas mileage eats it.

My unwritten rule: N/A Auto = 4.30 N/A Stick = 4.10
F.I Auto = 3.90 F/I Stick = 3.90 or 3.73
