HELLLLLPPP!! PLLLZZ! Busted Bolt!
I'm screwed now. i guess its true. . if it aint broke, dont fix it. I went to loosen one of the bolts on the harmonic balancer puller for the crank pulley, and it snapped off. now i have an inch of bolt stuck in my crank pulley. i'm not sure if its touching the block or not. HOW CAN I GET THIS OUT? i NEED my car for work!!

Where did you get the puller? Not that it helps now, but the puller I got from autozone had bolts desigined to only go in about 1/4 inch into the balancer. Probably just for problems like this. Looks like your only option now if its flush with the balancer is an easy out as suggested. I would go back to where you got the puller to see if they have any suggestions.

I doubt they will make you pay. Inferior quality bolt. Not your fault. I am sure they will be more helpful than you think. Might get you out of a jam. If the bolt is flush with the surface of the balancer, the EZ out is a good choice. The problem will be trying to get a drill into that tight space to drill out the bolt. Good luck.

How's the harmonic balancer bolt against the block? Anyway, be extremly careful with this. The odds are against you. One, like said before, getting a drill in that tight spot to work. Two, if you don't go exactly in the middle of this bolt and somehow turns into an angle and you hit the threads, your going to end up with a bigger problem then you have now. If the bolt was so seized up in the crank that you busted it when trying to loosen it, these extractors have a very little chance of working. If all out fails, you'll have to pull out the crank and get it to a machinist. Hate to give you all the bad news, but these are risk this project will face.
