Yeah, get a converter, shift kit and some gears. You wont be wishing you have a manual after that.

Definitely upgrade that auto. Shift kit, torque converter, and a ratchet shifter and you'll blow right past manuals all day long.

the way it works in life is to be happy with what u have and make the best of it,LEARN TO LOVE IT. otherwise youll be kicking youself in the face for the rest of your years on this lovley old planet for one reason or another....

all those are great suggestions, but the FEEL of driving a manual is still lost with AOD. I don't care if an auto is superior to my manual, I can still "yell" it to shift whenever I want. But if you must keep the car get a shift kit, stall converter etc...

very true. that is the only downfall i see with autos...

But peeps with autos can counter that by saying... "well i dont have cramps anymore" lol

drving a stick in a city with traffic is terrible. some say its all good, all it takes is getting used to.

heh i dunno....if i had to choose..id take stick anyway

After owning a car with a mean shift kit...being able to break loose while you scratch your nuts with one hand and just mash the gas is pretty sweet.

Just spend a couple hundred bucks on a shift kit and you'll be happy.
