What kit did you get? It oughta come with spark plugs and stuff. Wheres the kit from?

8banger if you're running your car hard without a dyno tune to check a/f then you're crazy.

+1, running the stock vortech tune without checking it on a dyno with a a/f meter (or your own wideband) is total suicide.

Edit: Add a new fuel filter once you change out the stock GT pump for your new one.

Talked to Vortech and modular Depot on this ....Vortech assures me they've done extensive research and tuningto make this a safe setup....Modular depot told me this very same thing...Very concervative,,more fuel thenyou need,,and not much timing..and could pick up as much as 50 RWHP with a good dyno tune....Hell..I've got 60 plus passes(racing the UMTR series(street stick)and a 5 k street miles without even a hickup(hell I had more problems hookin up than engine).....Eventually I'll get a good tune......Crazy happens to be my middle name........ http://hyperperformance.smugmug.com/...145656065-M-LB

you should def get a dyno tune. if one thing is off you could blow that motor. at least get it on a dyno and see if your a/f is ok. if it is no need to tune.

my vote goes for tr6s @ .35. thats what i just bought to put in my car with my KB 1.7

already have it set up at nextgen... they are a diablo dist. so it works good for me they do a base price of 350 unless the need to fix it the price will go up does a 350 base price sound good.
