Well my check engine light came on so i ran the diagnostics on it with the diablo, and it said the camshaft sensor is messed. Not really sure on what to do the car is running fine, any help would be greatly appreciated

Alternator could be going.

I have seen the alternator causing this and in my case a bad PCM caused this.

So should i run it by autozone or somethin and have them check the alternator ?

I would have them check it out. It seems to be the alternator regulator that causes this most of the time. When I had the problem, it was my PCM going bad like I said. I have an alternator that I had bought when I had the problem and I thought it was my alternator. If you need it just PM me.

^^Hey man thanks a lot i appreciate it. I took it over to autozone and they ran a test on it, and it seems to be running a few volts short. Its not by a whole lot, just a little below normal . Should i just replace the camshaft sensor and see how it runs for a little while ? The car seems to be doing fine i had an hour road trip yesterday and it ran perfectly

I would think it is the radiator if it was running short a bit. Replacing the sensor may just be a waste unless you can return it after.

Alright. I think im just goin to replace the sensor, its only 15 bucks, just to get the check engine light to go off and see how it runs for a little while. The battery voltage stays fairly normal while driving, and i havent been having any power issues within the past couple of days.I think i may have just surged the alternator the other day cause it took the car a couple times to turn over in the middle of last week. Since then its been running fine

Every now and then it does. Last week it took me twice to start it on one day. Thats when i started having a little bit of troubles and then the check engine light came on. Every since then its been runnin pretty good but with the check engine light still on, but it has started on the first time every since then
