Weight diff. between 2v and 4v motors???
What is the weight difference between a SOHC and a DOHC engine? doing a swap and need to know if I should chang my springs? I have 1-1/2drop up front on my GT and it sits even with the rear. Should I go 2" up front because the cobra block is aluminum or do the heads and intake make up for the difference? Thanks

i'd say they are probably within 50lbs or so, because like you said, the block is alum. but the heads/intake are larger. i don't see why you'd have to change springs, it shouldn't make that large of a difference. I'd actually love to have more weight in the front, or just have higher springs in the back, i love the jacked up back end look

Yeah, id guess they're pretty similar too. You save weight with the aluminum block but lose it with the bigger heads, extra cams, springs etc. andheavier crank and intake.
