Default High RPM At Idle

I just installed an Accufab 70mm TB and plennum about 2 weeks ago. Sometimes when I am sitting at idle after driving for a bit, it's idleing up around 1500 rpm. My car is an 04 GT and usually idles just under 1000. When it starts to idle high, i just rev it and it goes back down to where it should be. Would that be my TB sticking, or could it be something else as well? What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like the TB sticking or maybe the IAC sticking.

So what can I do about that? Just throw some lube on it?

i would wait another week. mine did the same thing for a while. now that i've had mine for about a year 99% of the time it works just fine, when it doesn't, i give it a little rev and it calms right down.

I was thinking that too. Just get the bugs worked outta it. Wasn't sure though. I'll see what happens. I shouldn't have to adjust the throttle cable at all though, right?

Had the same problem, then went with a modified gasket that goes between the IAC and the plenum. It has a smaller hole which allows a little less air in during idle and also keeps your idle down between shifts. Havent had problems since.

After a few starts it will be fine the computer has to relearn the extra airflow.
