Default New Mustang

Hi everybody i just got my first mustang, a 97 gt and want to give it the most speed for the least amount of money as possible, i am a newbie when it comes to modding cars for now(everybody is a one time), and just want to see what should be done, so far i have a superchip and dual flowmasters which neither really gives very much power. Any help would be great.

You're gonna see alot of that. What is your budget? Mods all depend on what you can afford.

Oh, and congrats on the new car they're addicting!

He should really start off with a PI swap if it hasn't already been done.

+1 on that. My last car was another '96 GT.I hadfull bolt ons and it was still pretty damn slow. A great place to start is swapping out the old NPI cams and intake manifold with PI. The cams are up to you but PI cams are cheap, easy to find, and give decent power over stock. PI cams and an intake manifold can be found for less than $200. Those mods should give you about 30-35 hp with supporting mods.
