i suppose i can't have it done either because of my 3.73s?

is it really bad if i don't get it fixed or is it just gonna be an annoyance when i'm driving?

Just dont try to shift fast till you get it warmed up. After it warms up it should shift like new. If you grind the hell out of it like crazy then it will become a problem because you are gonna eat second gear alive.

believe me, i don't shift hard at all in the morning. i'm too cold. it just does it no matter how careful i am. unless i just let my car sit there and warm up for 20 minutes, it's going to go into third rough no matter how i shift it. [:@]

Dont shift while the rpms are way up. When you shift in the morning press the clutch in and wait for the engine and tranny speed match and then shift. Like count to three or something. LOL It shouldnt give you a problem then.

If you want to replace the shifter, I have to recommend the MGW. Pricer then the others, but man is it a nice shifter and the shortest on the market.

Shorter than the Pro 5.0? [&:] That would seem a little too short to me.

I thought that my tri-ax set in the lowest setting was too low for me.
