Why would you screw the fronts?
sorry, I didn't clearify... I meant the front and back side of the rear wheels.

I've always been a firm believer in Rims screws...AND have always run them...UNTIL a friend ,asked why in the heck I was running them..If you look at mostSuper stock Drag cars,,they dont run them and there some of the hardest leaving cars on the planet(J/K)..seriously though...Sure enough most do not run them..andSo ,...I started inquiring about this..Most state...install with warm water(on the bead)and a touch of dawn dish soap(couple of drops with the water)....run and mark...At first they will turn abit maybe as much as 2 to 3inches from the original start...BUT...after that....they're stuck... My friend has a Jerry Hass pro stock Firebird withno rim screws and rus7.70's....in the 1/4.So...I dint run them in my Chevelle....and sure enough they turned for about 10 passes ...after thatstuck like glue...

you are correct, most big power cars don't run rim screws. They run beadlockers.

impressive, but did you ever check to see if it's slipping any? I know it can't hurt to have it done...

Yes...I marked them with dial in...and they did move a couple of inches in 10 passes...but didnt afterwards...I was stumped as I had always been told to use rims screws..and did....Nope doesnt hurt to use them...and if it doesnt bother you to drill holes in your wheels...And you still should use rim screws with running tubes in your slicks...even a couple of inches at first can rip a tube...usually at the valve...
