LOCK ME!

LOCK ME!
My self and my uncle were out crusing in his 02 GT auto and he kicked the *** end out a lil, bumped the curb just a tad (no rims damage). Well, the car then had no 3rd gear, overdrive, or reverse after that.. I'm cluesless.
We then installed a performance valve body we ordered from Jegs to see if it would help. He now has all gears working BUT reverse.
We tried using his Predator programmer and tried all the programs he had, nothing. We pulled the battery cables and still nothing.
So, What should we do?
It kinda sounds like it wants to engage but isn't. We put it on jack stands with the wheels off and put it in reverse, they didn't move the slightest bit. He could revv it in reverse with the wheels off and the axels wouldn't move an inch.
Thanks everyone!

RE: Automatic shifting problems
No, reverse is the only thing not working right now. We bought a performance valve body and it fixed all the forward drive problems and not reverse. Now we can't figure out why it won't go into reverse..
Have I stumped everyone???

Seriously, take it to a shop. People on this site will help you as much as possible but you have to remember that were not there and can't look at it for ourselves. If you lost gears just from a simple jar from a curb then you most likely just jared something loose in the tranny.

Yea, but by adding a performance valve body,we regained all the forward gears.. Something doesn't make sence...
