Built 98 cobra..how much nitrous?
Hello everyone...I am new to mustangs so hopping for a great experience[sm=americanasmiley.gif]
I just bought a 98 cobra with a built stroker (302)....the motor came with a flat top CP pistons ( stock compression), Manley Rods, and of course a forged crank.
It also has has long tubes, full exhaust, and a Lightning MAF..
The question is..
How much of a nitrous shot do you think the engine can take?...or what are the maximum gains I could get with this compression? since I know nitrous likes more compression.
Fuel feeding is no issue here..I can upgrade the fuel system
Thoughts are appreciated

I would start with a 125 shot, when you feel comfortable work your way up to a 175. Spray more depending on how the motor and fuel system react, have fun with it, only push it as far as you can afford to fix it!

The problem will not be your built motor, more likely something later in the drivetrain (axles, u-joints, transmission). If you decide to go with 200+, then invest in a progressive controler or go with a 2 stage system.
