Default installing an A/C bypass pulley...how?

my A/C compressor is shot and i dont have the cash right now to fix it so im picking up a bypass pulley from advanced auto parts. i guess it bolts in place of the compressor so ican keep my OEM size beltbut i dont have any step by step instructions. if anyone has done this before i could use some help.

You will have to remove the entire AC system (all the lines). The pully bolts right were the stock compressor did.

you say all the lines, are you talking about everything that even runs up along the engine to or just the closest lines to the compressor?

Just the ones at the compressor, then cap them off somehow to keep the dirt out and tie them out of the way to be sure they are not near or touching the exhaust manifolds or anything else that can damage them, good luck.
