Default Shocks that dont suck...

I replaced my stock shocks/struts with Fox body KYB GR2's after I lowered the car with the Eibach Pro-Kit. To be perfectly blunt, the ride sucks, i feel every small bump in the road and need to replace these crappy shocks/struts. Money was an issue, but is no longer an issue as I don't want to f around anymore with ride quality. I do 90% on the road 10% on the track so adjustables preferred. Let me know what you have and where you got 'em.

Thanks,

E.

Aren't the GR-2 a good aftermarket shock for lowered cars? How about getting shocks that are actually made for the car, such as GR-2's made for a 94-04 mustang?

When you lower the car the shocks travel/valving is thrown off and you end up with a shock thats valved wrong. Fox bodies use shorter shocks and are generally used on lowered cars since their range of travel is correct. For example, if your car has 7" of travel (bottomed out to full droop) you want your shocks to be valved appropriately.

Should get the AGX adjustables. The gr-2 arent adjutable. Also strange 10 way adjustables are awsome too.

I just put on GR2 struts and will do the shocks within a few days[&:] We'll see how the ride goes I guess. I did get Foxbody s/s though.
