I have an extra 350 bucks...

for the whole kit it is like 300 for shims, oil, new bolts, bearing, crush sleeve,the ring and pinion set and the speed calibrator

One of my buddies said to get a new throtle body..is that a good idea or am i better off doin somthing else

I would get gears... You wont tell very much from a tb, but gears will make it a totaly diff car

T.B/Plenum. Worth 17HP on a 03GT in a magazine dyno test.
HiFlow H/X pipe. Cost for a catted one and install might cost $450-500
Gears. Don't cost much, it is the install that can be pricey. You will really fell the improvement, but at the cost of a little MPG.

The install on the gears will kill you. How about a tuner or something, it won't give you a lot of gain now but it could set you up for future installs.
