Cold air ?

RE: Cold air ?
JLT makes a pretty good product. Good (not fantastic) quality of parts, and gains are decent (though not amazing as with any cold air without supporting mods). I have the JLT True Cold Air on my GT and had no real problems with the fitment.
What other mods do you have, though? A tune really shows the intake's potential. My SCT woke the car up after everything that's been done!

my friend has the bbk on his 98 gt. it was kinda harder to install because you have to put the filter up in the fender, but it makes a decent noticable sound. i think im gonna go with the jlt ram air when/if i feel like getting one. they all do the same anyway

now, tell me stupid if you want, but ebay sells the same cai that american muscle sells for $89 for +/- $45, now i dont really see the diff between one of those and a brand name, my cousin have one of those in his stang for a while now whithout no issues

I have the BBK and as noted, the filter is a pain to install. It can actually be a two man job. Its looks pretty good, but, I have read that plastic is better than metal when it comes to heat so you may want to keep that in mind. All fender well setups are somewhat difficult to install when it comes to the filter so maybe a JLT Ram Air is better.
After installing the BBK, I bought a 90 degree elbow and a short 3 1/2 inch of aluminum pipe to bring the filter down a bit, but not too close so as to possibly catch a water on a rainy day. Its makes it so much easier to remove the filter for cleaning or replacing. The BBK setup out of the box has the filter way up in the fender just about touching the underside of the fender. Think about it. Heat rises so that where all the heat collects under the fender. Just a thought
