Traction Control

RE: Traction Control
Well mustangs TCS doesn't apply the brakes it cuts fuel in increments until the wheel spin stops. It will actually stall the car if the wheel spin still exists after the 5th incremental (50% fuel cut).
I won't pay any amount of money to put an aftermarket TCS system on my car unless I deemed it TOTALLY required and I don't see that anytime in the near future.
And I would imagine a TCS system ruining a nice drift any day (see "drifiting" post)

I forget to turn off the traction control sometimes. So when I really step on it or need to get out of a situation, and I happen to spin the tires. It cuts off the fuel. Its very anoying... I think the factory should have made it so when you turned the car off with the TC off it should stay that way when you turn the car on next time.

Because they don't want you to mod your car.
If you want to mod it, mod it. You have to pay to play. I not worried about the warrenty, almost up anyway, and I know the law. If it IS NOT the cause of the failure DIRECTLY the car retains it's warrenty, that it.
If you are so concerned about it, then live with stock for the rest of your life.
You have to pay to play........with ANYTHING you do......
