Default SC Experts look here

I have just finished installing my Paxton Novi 1000 on my 2000 GT.

I was talking with the guy which is supposed to do the tune. He looked through my mods and everything. He said that in order to everything to work right, I must have a Lightning MAF in addition to my mods. Else my engine can explode.

I have never heard of this. My car has the mods as in the sig.

I have searched the web but found nothing. So what do you guys think?

Listen to your tuner. You need a larger MAF.Your stock meter can't handle it.

if your going to run the lightning MAF then you'll need an external IAT. Get the threaded lightning IAT and the pigtail. heres the part #s

No. Stock Maf won't fly. You need a new MAF and IAT, Injectors and Fuel pump. Those are the components that aren't included in a "tuner" kit usually.

Along with the new maf and iat stuff, you'll need a bigger silicone coupler to fit the L maf (4") tothe supercharger inlet pipe is. I'm guessing it's going to be 3.5" Double check before you order.

I have all the other modifications except the MAF. Guess I have to buy one then!
