alternater ?

alternater ?
I bout my mustang about a month in a half ago from carmax, it had the 30 day warenty on it. About 3 weeks later my alt started screaching so i took it in and they put on a new one for free. Now like three weeks later its making that screaching sound again. I have a 6 month warenty on it but i dont want to have to be bringing it in everyweek to be having to switch that dam thing out. Does any one know why it keeps screaching, am i driving it to hard or does it not have enough amps any help would be great.

It just sounds to me like Car Max is putting the cheapest alternator they can find on your car. I'd harass the hell out of them and have them keep replacing it until your problem is solved.

ya i was thinking about just getting a good one my self and putting it on but ya i think i will just tell then to put something better in or i will just have them swithc it out every week intill they finally put on a good one
