Miles per gallon on the highway with 4.10's!
For all the fellows that know me know that im stationed in Texas and my family lives in GA. Well I just made the first trip home after the 4.10 install. I drove 75 mph for the most part lol. I will explain that in detail...so here it goes.
1st tank... 204 miles and filled up at 1/4 of a tank because I just got to I 20 and didnt wanna stop.
2nd tank... 240 miles and filled up at just below a quarter tank because I was in the middle of no where anddidnt wanna run out of gas in the middle of Louisana.
3rd tank... 280 miles from the east side of Louisana into Alabama.
4th tank... I filled up about 100 miles into Alabama and when I got into Georgia, there was a WS6 thjat wanted to play so I glad to oblige.We made a couple runs up to about 140 and stopped and went about his way. I made it to the south side of Atlanta to my parents and still have a 1/4 tank to play with.
All in all I would say that 4.10's aren't that bad on the highway at all. The first tank was short because it was a lot of "in town" driving.
See you guys in a week or so.

I would say that about 90% of my driving is stop and go (Southern California traffic), I would kill for that kind of mileage, and I have stock gears. I get about 200 miles per tank, and by about I mean that is at least 4 miles with the gas light on.

well the way I figured it I was getting about 20-21 miles per gallon. I had to fill up on a quarter tank of gas a couple times so I just know what I was getting per tank. I would say 19-21 is a fair estimate.

This thread is usless without actuall number JD: learn how to calculate your fuel milage fool.
(Total miles driven/ Total fuel used)

well i get 16 MPG with my 4.10's... thats daily driving taking it easy just cruising to work and back and maybe to some chicks house whenever i get that call

i get somewhere around 17-19 mpg. Its mainly around town driving, and a 20 minute run down I35 to my friends house. Howed you hold up doing 75 mph? i get ancy going 80, and i have people passing me at 80 alot
