Well, it looks like I'm pretty set on gears being my next mod and seeing as I'm going to have to get a tuner to coordinate the speedometer .. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me a little more in depth what exactly I could use the chip for to enhance my Cobra? I don't want to buy it JUST to have a base tune .. I'd like to be able to get the most horsepower out of the chip as I can get, and I'm just wondering what exactly it's capable of doing and if I'd be able to just plug it up and do it myself or if it'd be better to have a shop do a custom tune? Any comments are appreciated, thank you

Try to get it tuned on a mustang dyno.

Just use the canned tune. You dont have enough mods to make a custom tune worth the money. Don't get a chip just get the tuner.
