Default Video/sound clip request cammed mustang

I am going to do a cam swap, and after some research, found out that the limit for my set up is stage II. I dont want to mess with the heads quite yet, well for a good long time anyway, so I found the limit is the stage II. Does anyonehave any video or soundclips of mustangs with stage I or stage II cams, so I can do a comparison of the sound. I dont really want the power of the cams, just the sound, I am leaving the juice to cover the power portion of this gig. Thats why I dont want to mess with heads or anything until the car is paid off and its not my dailydriver, I dont feel like dumping 2500 worth of parts to affect my daily driver. SO if anyone could help me out, that would be great.

Do you realize how expensive cams are?

Are you going to be doing the install yourself?

Oh yea, that thing sounded wicked man, I appreciate it.

And yes, i understand how expensive cams are, they are bout 500-600 bux for a set of 2, then bout 175 for the comp cams spring, 100 bux for the bolt on cam gear, 250 for the adjustable cam gear, have not decided on that yet, Then I can get it tuned for cheap, I am undecided on install myself. I may or may not.

You really need all that? I thought you could swap the cams with nothing if they were stage1's and if you got stage 2's you needed new springs and heads. Or was I miss informed. I'm looking at getting stage 2 heads and and stage 2 cams like 99cammedgt. He quoted me a price he payed and it didn't say you had to buy all the additional parts you mentioned like the cam gears. Learn me somethingI really would like to go this route with a 100 shot and call it a day. What am I getting myself into as far as wallet wise?

I believe that the 99-01 cars need cam gears because they are pressed on. My 03 cam gears were just bolted on.

I have HEARD that all 99-04 were pressed, but appearantly not. Mines an 02, so I may be out of the fire. I would probably upgrade to adjustable down the road, just for kicks.

Also to my understanding, with stage II's no head work is needed, but would not hurt at all. I think I read that from the sticky cam's on the top of this sub forum.
