ticking
 

guys ive got a ticking suond comin from what seems to be the passenger side of my motor. its consistent with road speed and it really bothers me. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? is it bad? how to fix?

Can you get a soundclip? How loud is it? Does it vary with rpms? How does the car run? Losing any oil?
It could just be injectors ticking but a soundclip will do the best.

wouldnt be able to hear it in a sound clip. it is consistent with the rpm. car seems to be running fine, except i have an exhaust leak which is more of an annoyance than anything. havent checked the oil yet.

Are you sure its not your exhaust leak? I would say its more than likely your injectors

Is your exhaust leak on the passenger side also? When I installed my racing pipes I didn't get them perfectly sealed off on one side and it ticked also. Sounded like a 1976 Ford pick up truck I used to own. I'd say its the exhaust leak if its leaking on the same side your hearing it on.

Does it sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6VZ-qciDU4turn your volume up and make sure there's no other noise in the background the sound it make's is hard to hear. But anyways this is a similiar noise like I have. I was told it could be a bearing.

Yea, could just be an exhaust leak
