Good Deal on MAC INTAKE??

Good Deal on MAC INTAKE??
Ok one of my friends has a MAC air intake with a C&L 80mm MAM that he's willing to sell to me for around 150. I know MAC isn't the best intake but this includes a new MAM!! I thought about getting the basic tunable induction system without the MAM but this looks like a pretty good deal. What do you guys think I should do?

120 for the mam alone is a deal......so just act like you got the MAC CAI kit for free.....actually turn around and sell the MAC CAI for 50 bucks and get a Turn IND for 80 after the price cut

kubball, (sorry to hijack this post for a min) I see that you have the mac o/r h pipe and american thunder kit, how loud is it and is there a drone and highway speeds? I am wondering because i am looking at the same exhaust for my 01' GT (with mac pro-chamber) but am thinking it is going to be too loud, and do not want to attract the wrong kind of attention [sm=smiley10.gif]. Thanks for your input..

Yeah I'd recommend my exhaust setup to anyone who is thinking about getting it. Peole talk about how the drone is annoying but you only notice it when the radio is off. It's not too loud like the magnapacks, so if you're looking for something really loud go with magnaflow. I'm very happy with my system though. It's got a great rumble to it!

So the guy I bought that intake from on ebay says he wrecked his pickup that had my intake boxed up in it. He totalled his truck and it rolled several times, smashing my intake. I asked him for the C&L MAM but he said it was damaged too. I don't know if I believe that or not. It seems like that had a chance of making it through the accident.
