This sucks, I can barely get into the 14's, Granted, I race at 4800ft, but I can't even dream about 13's. Elevation really sucks.

Im sure you all have seen it before but thought I would shed some light on people who dont believe stock PI gt's can run a 13

I got a friend of mine who went to the track with his 02 gt about a month ago with just a set of slicks for the rear and ran a 14.07 with a 60 foot of 1.9. I was impressed! So all you guys with mods running 14's HA HA HA! But i think everyone needs to learn how to drive their car.
Way to many factors for you to make a statement like that. Oh and a 1.9 60' on slicks is not that spectacular. Everyone on this forum knows a stock 99-04 gt is capable of 14.0s. Some have even went into the 13s. Anyways if you are gonna call people out dont use a friends time...

I hear ya. Whenever I take the stang up into the mountains (in Colorado) the car loses even more hp, it's a dog way up there. Is there a track that you race atthat high?I don't know of any drag strips higher than 4800ft (but then again, I haven't looked).

A stock 99-04 V6 driven by Evan Smith hit 14.9. I sure hope a GT can get past 14's.
Man I need to learn his driving skills. [8D]
That's sick.

Well my point fellas was I know its super possible to hit 13's with tires. I havent seen it very much so I was excited to see that. Thats all... no need to get all huffy about it. And i said everyone else should learn how to drive because I do not see any stockers on here running a 13.
first you called us out.. and second... i havent seen a time slip of you hitting a 13 with a stock gt. elevation, temperature and humidity all made a difference in the 1/4, if you knew anything youd have taken that into account. as for your friend hitting basically a1.9 with tires... ive seen street tires hit thatand once a 1.8.. sounds like your friend should put his d*ck back in your mouth so you can contemplate opening it again.
