Default 99-04 GT guys check this

Im sure you all have seen it before but thought I would shed some light on people who dont believe stock PI gt's can run a 13

I got a friend of mine who went to the track with his 02 gt about a month ago with just a set of slicks for the rear and ran a 14.07 with a 60 foot of 1.9. I was impressed! So all you guys with mods running 14's HA HA HA! But i think everyone needs to learn how to drive their car.

You really think running a 14 with slicks is worth talking smack?

I know of one local guy that ran a 13.9 with his 04 GT bone stock, and another with a very high 13.8x with his 2V with welded in mufflers. Both on street tires.

Anyone that argues how difficult it is to get a 2V into the 13's doesn't know what they are talking about.

Yeah, not all that impressive. My buddy ran a 13.9 in a 2001 GT, bone stock other than catback. Including tires.

14.07 on slicks isn't very impressive. You can do that on street tires. I think your friend needs to learn how to drive his car not everyone else on here.

Well my point fellas was I know its super possible to hit 13's with tires. I havent seen it very much so I was excited to see that. Thats all... no need to get all huffy about it. And i said everyone else should learn how to drive because I do not see any stockers on here running a 13.

It isn't common to run 13's stock. It is just possible. With slicks you should be deep thirteens.

A stock 99-04 V6 driven by Evan Smith hit 14.9. I sure hope a GT can get past 14's.
