wow. that is weird. so how do the spark plugs get energy then? i dont think they make their own spark. how can sensors make them? this is very confusing to me.[sm=trust_me.gif]

On the 99+ the coils are right on top of the plugs. Pop you hood and you will see them under the fuel rails.

the coils are on top of the plug... but u wont see it until u unscrew the sensor .. and the coil is attached to the sensor ... just take it apart and youll see how it goes

haha, I felt the same way the first time I worked on a car... lol my first time ever was replacing the longblock in a Camero... for 3 days after work I sat under the car port swapping parts off one engine to the other and putting the engine back in. What a bish... I was so worried the car wouldnt start or the engine would fall out or something I had like 20 extra nuts and bolts and a couple spare pieces that I didn't know where they went. All was well though.

Great thing is next time you change plugs it will only take you 15 minutes... don't worry dude, plugs don't need a break in and you can't really mess the job up. Congrats on your first wrench turning, its all downhill from here!
HA ha ha. Mines, the exact same story but it was a shortblock in a Camaro.

I bet I had more parts left over than you though. [sm=smiley36.gif]

Congratualtions on getting the plugs done 99 [sm=smiley20.gif]

One thing I used to do was take some masking tape and label everything I took off the motor or unplugged.......then again, that was before the internet existed. [8D]
