Default headers

WellI just got my bbk headers, o/r x pipe and slp1 installed. it sounds pretty good. took it to the track and only shaved 1tenth off my time. not too happy. but it is what it is.I just thought for all that money it would do a little better.I guess you just pay for the good sound.

well maybe it wasnt the exhausts' fault. maybe you had more tire spin or something than your last run. theres lots of variables to take into consideration

I know you don't have a superchager, but you's better be careful with drag slicks on stock axles! Somethings gotta give sooner or later. You should gain much more than .1 in the 1/4mi. with LT's. How was the air quality and temp?

Have you gotten it tuned after the LT install? I road around for about a month with no tune and felt no difference. Then I got it dyno tuned and Diablo chipped, much different! Give that a shot if you have not already. The larger volume in the LT headers creates A/F ratio problems.

Well it's more than just the axles! Say if you were to get 31 spline axles(requires a diff. carrier) then the pressure would go to your driveshaft and u-joints. If you beefen those up then the power goes to your tranny insides. The torque eliminates the weakest link in it's path. I would just get Drag Radials and call it a day!
