the best thing i can recommend is letting your fuel pump prime before you start it.. if you dont sometimes you get that lag because the fuel is taking a second to get to the lines... so bassically turn your key all the way to the last stop before you actually start it and let it sit for 5 seconds. then push it up that last step.
