I have a 98gt with a 9lbs powerdyne, mild port and polished heads, MAC short tube headers, Hpipe no cats into flows w/ 4:11 gears. Running BFG KDW's 17x8 w/ a 285/45 in the rear. Can anyone give me some ideas for traction, I get nothing out of the hole,really nothing thru 3rd gear if I take off hard.

try a different tire. bfg kdw's are more of an all season tire. try going with bfg's drag radial. just a suggestion. my friend has those tires and he has horrible tracion compared to when he had his bfg comp ta's.
