i still think chris at excessive in manasass, VA has the magic touch for gear installation. even while taking alot of "breaks" talking to people coming in, looking at lightning that came in for a few minutes, he still had them in in under an hour. <3

Why didn't MD try 3.90's? Those should have maxed 4rth about right.

ive been thinking about this and everything.... but if you are going over 100 mph hitting the traps.. why cant you shift into 5th gear? you should have a good amount of power in 5th gear with the rpm you would be at?

ive been thinking about this and everything.... but if you are going over 100 mph hitting the traps.. why cant you shift into 5th gear? you should have a good amount of power in 5th gear with the rpm you would be at?
The gap between 4th and 5th is so wide that your acceleration would suffer. Best cure is to bump up the rev-limiter so you can be on the gas through the traps. I had the same problem and turn 6200 through the traps

nope, we arent hitting 5th in 1/4 mile.
