Default Bullitt intake on my GT?

WIll the bullitt intake fit on my 99 gt? I found one here locally, and i wondered if it was worth the trouble. The bullitt has 15 hp more than me sotck right? the part is not that expensive. What is the difference between mine and that one. I dont think it issnt plastic like mine right? I was just checking before i bought it and got stuck with a piece that didnt fit.

P.S. im goin to the dyno saturday, WISH ME LUCK!

about 5, 10 rwhp at the most on a mildly modded GT. you some misc parts to go with it too, but yea its a direct bolt-on - a bullit intake kit is worth 800-1200 bucks

There are a lot of little things you will need to do. Not worth the effort for 15hp, IMO. You are looking at the intake, valve cover, TB and intake track, sensor relocation, I believe you need to do something with the coolant return line.

Lot of work for little gain. I'd use the money for something else.

Ok, so MDV says yes it is a direct swap. Silver GT says no its too hard and not worth it. What in the world is the answer. I need to swipe this thing before someone else does. WILL IT FIT?

Yes it will fit. Direct replacement. But It will take you a few hours to complete.

It WILL fit. IT is not a DIRECT REPLACMENT! You will need to change other things OTHER then just the manifold. IMO it's not worth the money for the slight HP gain. You need to change the valve cover or modified because the intake inlet passes right over the oil fill hole. The coolant upper line needs to be changed because of the intake coolant pass through position. TPS sensor needs to be moved. Throttle cable may need to be lengthened. IAC Valve needs to be moved. Not to mention all your other mods like TB and plenum now are useless and a was a wasted purchase. The gains you got from those are comprable to the Bullit intake.

It can be done, it will take time and money for lots of little things. It will bolt on but you need to make changes. Your choice.

99-2004 260hp Bullitt 265hp That would be a big waste of money at this stage. I heard you get 15hp or better if you have a supercharger.. Take your air intake silencer off...thats about the same power as that intake and its free and takes 30 seconds.
