I found a gauge cluster from a '96 Cobra online to buy for my '97 GT since my odometer stopped working. The guy selling it mentioned that it might not work for all years unless an adapter is used...? Being a Cobra, will it be compatible to my GT?
He also mentioned the tach didn't really work well for him when he installed it in his '95 GT, does this sound like something worth purchasing? It'll be around $100 or so... Thanks

If he said it didn't work well then I wouldn't bother.

Why buy someone elses junk?

You could get another cluster from a pick'n'pull for cheap....
